From WhatsApp Inquiry to PI: The DeltaSpark Product Direction
AI inquiry reception and customer qualification, with assistance for salespeople moving opportunities toward a pro forma invoice (PI).
DeltaSpark is an AI inquiry reception and sales opportunity development system for international trade businesses. It aims to automatically respond to WhatsApp inquiries and use multi-turn conversations to understand customer backgrounds, purchasing needs, quantities, and timelines, qualify prospects, and form actionable sales opportunities.
DeltaSpark then assists salespeople with follow-up, requirement clarification, quotation preparation, and confirmation of transaction details, helping move opportunities toward issuing a pro forma invoice (PI).
Receive inquiries and understand the customer
An initial inquiry may contain only a product name or a request for a price. In the intended workflow, AI handles reception and asks follow-up questions based on what the customer has already shared. Missing background, requirements, quantities, and timing remain open questions rather than inferred facts.
Hand off actionable opportunities
Early conversations should produce information that a salesperson can assess and act on: who the customer is, what they need, known purchasing conditions, outstanding questions, and the next action. The handoff includes the original conversation and organized requirements. Qualification criteria and handoff conditions still need to be defined for the team's business.
Help salespeople progress toward PI
After an opportunity takes shape, the system assists with customer feedback, open questions, and follow-up work, with the goal of connecting requirement clarification, quotation preparation, and confirmation of transaction terms. Reaching the pro forma invoice stage does not by itself mean a sale has closed or payment has been received.
Current capabilities and product goals
The current code includes WhatsApp conversations, manual replies, customer and inquiry records, AI assistance for organizing information and drafting replies, and follow-up work. Real messaging has been verified in a local pilot. AI business changes and customer replies still require human confirmation; real Writer generation and production deployment remain unverified. Autonomous reception and qualification, the complete quotation workflow, and the PI workflow remain future deliverables.
Screenshots, historical materials, and personal AI assistants support customer understanding and opportunity development. Team and business-unit permissions determine which records employees may access and act on.
